This is my first backward design lesson plan that aims to engage students. Using the Grade Two mathematics curriculum, I have looked at the overall and specific expectations of the Ontario Curriculum. It incorporates an interactive and engaging activity of creating bouncy balls and touches upon the Measurement, Number Sense and Numeration and Geometry and Spatial Sense strands.
